Hasan Ciftci

Hasan is an entrepreneur with over 35 years of experience, 25 of which he has spent in Poland. Holding both Turkish and Polish citizenship, he has built his career around international trade, tourism, investment, and cross-border cooperation. He is widely recognized for his efforts in strengthening social, economic, and cultural ties between Poland and Turkey. Since 1999, he has contributed to various public and private initiatives in Poland, including field coordination, permitting, and stakeholder management in construction projects involving international institutions such as NATO and the U.S. Department of Defense. In recent years, he has focused on providing local expertise, cultural mediation, and strategic guidance to major international initiatives. In 2000, he played a founding role in launching the first organized holiday tourism operations from Poland to Turkey—an effort that laid the foundation for sustained tourism between the two countries. Today, he continues to collaborate with both Turkish and Polish tourism professionals. Between 2009 and 2016, he served as President of the Poland–Turkey Association and remains the founder and current head of Rotary ICC Poland–Turkey. Since 2014, he has held the honorary title of “Ambassador of Invest in Pomerania.” With strong relationships across government, business, and diplomatic circles, he actively supports value-driven, trust-based partnerships.
